To our tournament convenors,
This has been quite a Spring, and will likely be a very challenging Summer as well. We at Ariss Valley sincerely appreciate the optimism some of you have shown by postponing your event into September in hopes of still pulling it off. We will hold any dates you would like and hope it can be done. Tournaments as we knew them last year will not likely happen this year unless they are smaller and the Provincial Guidelines allow.
For those that have put it off until next year, we understand and will carry your deposit forward.
We would like to share an idea that came up recently in hopes of salvaging your event and at least keep it in tack so next year’s participation in your tournament may be more secure.
Supposing you, as the organizing committee would recruit your golfers as you normally do and charge what-ever you think is fair to accomplish your needs. Then, instead of securing a particular date as in the past, they can print off a voucher to be presented at the golf course. It could be on any day they choose and they could book a tee time with us. It must be minimum of a 4some or more depending on the Provincial restrictions.
We at the course would set up the carts – hopefully no more than 3 carts / 4some, serve them the BBQ burger lunch and the plated steak dinner with salad, potatoes, veg and a dessert – with real cutlery and dishes.
We would also collect the score cards.
You would determine when the event is over – say Sept 15. We would then gather up all your cards, figure out winning foursomes by scores, hidden hole events, etc., and deliver them to you.
From your end, you may decide to do email announcements or perhaps a webinar telecast on a particular evening.
The great thing is, they can play any day from June to September as a 4 some or small group – and perhaps replay with a different pairing. The weather would also not be as much of a factor.
The following pricing would apply for the package…
Golf Pricing
- $40 weekday
- $50 week-end
- Cart $19/rider
(9 hole events would be priced accordingly and treated similarly).
Food Pricing
- Burger only $12.
- Plated Steak dinner only $29
Golf and Meal Package
- Week day Burger and Plated Steak dinner $90
- Weekend Burger and Plated Steak dinner $100
All taxes and gratuities are included.

Ariss Valley is an experienced full service tournament facility. Upon arrival, your registration area is set up and your carts with players name signs are ready to go. While your group enjoys their Bakery Breakfast or BBQ lunch, staff at Ariss ensure all your sponsors, contests, and volunteers are placed on the course. We then lead you out to your starting tee. During your cocktails and dinner, we collect all your signage, sponsorships and contest from the course. We will package and tabulate it all.
We not only offer you a worry free event, but our food is second to none!
If requested we can now provide scoring and tournament pictures on our large screen during cocktails and dinner. Any pictures that you want displayed, please let us know.
